Society News

Society news is generated and contributed by our members, newsletter editor, officer, and committee chairmen. It is divided in three categories, our monthly newsletter, member & committee’s reports, and feature articles. Our newsletter, “Thistle’n Dixie” has a limited number of volumes loaded on this site due to some technical difficulties that its editor is overcoming. We hope that this area of our web site will be up-to-date soon. The report section is also under construction with limited numbers available. This and our schedule page will evolve into a reliable source for members to see what’s happening at a glance.

Thistle’n Dixie

A newsletter editor is appointed each year by our president. Our current editor is Mrs. Laurie McConnell. Publication is suspended during summer break (July and August), months the Society doesn’t meet. The table below indicated NP (not published) for these months. Below is our index to the issues of our newsletter available on this website now. “Yes” in the cell indicates the issue is available. As of this date no reports have been submitted but a summary of the Societies’ meeting minutes are available in the newsletters. This location within our website provides a place for committees and officers to inform our membership of their actions and efforts. We encourage all committees and officers to contribute regular reports and information to be posted in this public domain section. We also offer a “members only” area where information intended for society members may be posted. The submitter should make this distinction.
