Without
any intent to minimize the devastation wrought by Hurricane Katrina, it is safe
to say that no area of Scottish culture in New Orleans was impacted greater than
Highland dance. All of the costumes and accessories of our young dancers were
destroyed. The members were all displaced and as of this date we don’t know
when Highland dance may resume.
